We will hold seminars inviting researchers with hot and current achievements in statistical science and data science as presenters, and lectures by mainly well-known foreign scholars on new approaches from statistical science and data science and solutions to global issues.
① Research seminars on statistical science and data science
Researchers who are timely active on statistical science and data science are invited, and cutting-edge topics are discussed here. This seminar is an opportunity for presenters and participants to show their research results each other and exchange frank opinions. Especially these topics are focused as follows, (1) development of the latest statistical theories and models, (2) methods of AI, machine learning, and deep learning, and (3) actual data analysis issues. We are also aiming to create seeds for collaborative research.
②Research lectures on statistical science and data Science
This is a special lecture, presented by a world-class scholar on statistical science and data science, with different purpose from research seminars mentioned above. The presenters show their legendary and revolutionary ideas, or discuss the hottest global issues(such as the Covit-19 pandemic.) For these lectures, we invite, not only experts related to statistical science and data science, but also general participants who are interested in lectures' topics.
