For master's students, we will offer study and internship programs for a couple of months. Students get direct guidance from experts in statistical science and data science, and gain newly their academic knowledge and practical skills through actual projects.

Based on the pillars of "Specialized Education Program in Statistical Science" and "Long-term Internship", we will provide students with systematic learning and experience on Statistical and Data Sciences. These are linked to existing programs at Tohoku University.

From the viewpoint of statistical science, we build a step-by-step research supporting system for the analytical issues faced by researchers, and provide expert advice.
In the first stage, we support researchers to set research questions and analysis objectives. In the second stage, we will advise researchers to set ways of data suvey and to select optimal models and analysis methods based on statistical science and data science. Finally, we will give advice on interpreting the analysis results and making sure new discoveries.
